Art Hotel William - Bratislava

The breakfast buffet was quite good, with a variety of fresh options that set a positive tone for the day.

The layout of the hotel made it tricky to find staff after hours, which could be an issue for late arrivals.

The staff members were pleasant and welcoming. The breakfast was savoury and tasty, there was a huge variety of food to chose from.

Location near the Old Town made exploring easy. The breakfast options were limited and could have been better.

room itself was quite ok - spacious, nice to look at, warm (good for sex, not so good for sleeping). beds good despite visitor's crack. small minibar. good bathroom. balcony. furnishings partly defective. none of it really disturbing.

service surprisingly dismissive. breakfast situation particularly disappointing. reliable service and uncomplicated breakfast are the main reasons why i choose hotel and not airbnb. clearly before 10 am entire breakfast buffet is cleared away in an unpleasant rush, at 10 am sharp. windowless breakfast cellar is locked, guests still having breakfast are driven out with aggressive cleaning agents. at exactly 11 o'clock the key card is deactivated and you are not even allowed to take the lift down. nevertheless extra charges will be made. I could still accept it somehow if you do it in a reasonably friendly way, but that was just another of many signals that this hotel sees its guests not as customers but as opponents and rip-off objects. Pity! . Now I understand why there were so few guests in the hotel ..

Problems with the Internet. For 4 stars, the lack of internet throughout a hotel stay... is unacceptable!!!!

Location's a total winner, right near all the jols, with a lekker comfy bed to crash in after! Chommies at reception were super helpful too, even sorted me out with charging my phone when I was in a bind.

Only downside was the dodgy WiFi, had to vasbyt a bit on that.

I really like the room, is very comfortable and clean, breakfast was very nice and the location of the hotel is great.

Receptionist gave us very wrong information about parking (they dont have one close to the hotel!) which made us big trouble. Receptionist wasnt professional, didnt gave us almost any information and made mistakes - hope this was just bad luck. Is very big problem to find this hotel - the signs are very unsufficient.

Excellent location in the centre of the old town. Staff very friendly & helpful. Decor of room was excellent. Lovely Breakfast. Would recommend to anyone & we hope to return.

The convenience of ordering a taxi from the friendly front desk staff was a plus, although it was inconvenient not to have vehicles drive up to the hotel on the pedestrian lane. Breakfast featured good organic fruits, but the absence of traditional tea options left a little to be desired. Noise from nearby nightlife could be disruptive at times, too.

Excellent interior design. Very good security. Breakfast was delicious and substantial. The staff extremely friendly and helpful, keen to please. Location first class.
